3 Ways CBD Can Improve Your Daily Life

Hemp for Anxiety

Hemp is a common natural remedy that many people have turned to alleviate illnesses and conditions. Cannabidiol (CBD) is becoming a commonly known chemical compound found in the Cannabis or Cannabis Sativa. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is known for its psychoactive effects on an individual, commonly known as feeling “high” and is often associated with Marijuana. However, CBD is non-psychoactive, making it more appealing and friendly to people not interested in a mind-altering effect. In other words, CBD can not get you high.

CBD oil is created by extracting CBD from the hemp plant then diluting it with an oil medium such as coconut (MCT) oil or grapeseed oil. Here at Flo Hemp Co, we use a mixture of Grapeseed oil and MCT oil for all our tinctures, but we can make orders with different oils upon request.

Shown to reduce anxiety

Several studies over the years have shown that CBD can reduce anxiety. For general anxiety disorders, the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) says that CBD has shown to reduce stress in animals such as rats. For example, the test subjects’ psychological symptoms of anxiety, such as increased heart rate, improved after ingesting CBD. In other recent studies, CBD has shown it can reduce nightmares and replaying negative memories for other forms of anxiety such as PTSD.

Can relieve pain

The human body contains a specialized system called the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is involved in regulating a variety of functions including sleep, appetite, pain and immune system response. The human body produces endocannabinoids, which are neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors in our nervous system. Studies have shown that CBD may help reduce chronic pain by impacting endocannabinoid receptor activity, reducing inflammation and interacting with neurotransmitters. In fact, multiple studies have shown that a combination of CBD and THC are an effective pain relief option for individuals with multiple sclerosis and arthritis, for example CBD oil for back pain is a very good option for pain problems in the body.

Could benefit heart health

In recent studies, CBD has been linked to have several benefits for the heart and circulatory system, including lowering blood pressure. High blood pressure is linked to a number of serious health conditions, such as stroke and heart attack. One recent study treated nine healthy men with one dose of 600 mg of CBD oil and found it reduced resting blood pressure, compared to a placebo. The same study also gave the men stress tests that normally increase blood pressure. Interestingly, the single dose of CBD led the men to experience a smaller blood pressure increase than normal in response to these tests. Researchers found that the stress and anxiety reducing properties of CBD may play a role in why individuals will experience lower blood pressure.

For a year 2020 marked by global health problems, there is no better gift to give than health, in such a way that CBD oil is an excellent option for Christmas gifts, if you want to give the opportunity to a healthier life, get your FLO HEMP CO CBD oil today.
